For further information please go to: www.baybuildinggroup.com.au About the Role Due to the increasing demand for our insurance building services, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Supervisor to join our busy Perth office working with our Direct Insurance & Major Loss & Specialty team. This is an integral role within the division and is responsible for delivery of jobs across both residential and commercial insurance reinstatement projects. This role covers Perth and south of Perth with limited travel required to Kalbarri. The Supervisor is ultimately responsible for all site-based operations such as:- Engaging trades and monitoring progress Forecasting monthly revenue according to project completion dates Preparing schedules Quality assurance Adherence to WH&S standards Client liaison Managing budgets resulting in the delivery of quality outcomes for clients Working alongside our Procurement team to onboard and manage our subcontractors and suppliers is also a key component of the role. Skills and Experience Proven skills in construction supervision for building repairs to both domestic and commercial properties Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities Experience working directly with clients, building consultants and construction related trades/suppliers Strong verbal and written communication Thorough understanding of the construction process from concept to handover and WHS requirements Ability to interpret plans and engineers’ drawings Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards Due to our business being heavily weather related and linked closely to major insurable events, overtime is occasionally required.
